Terms & Conditions (only for private consumers)
The following terms of business apply to all private consumer purchases via hummel.net/en-dk/ for delivery in all of Denmark, including bridge-connected and non-bridge-connected islands. All purchase agreements on the website are concluded in English. You must be entitled to use a payment card to be able to shop on the website.

1. How to shop
It is easy to buy products – just follow this procedure:
1. Choose a product and put it in the shopping basket by clicking 'Put in basket'.
2. Complete your purchase by clicking the button 'Go to checkout' in the shopping basket in the top right corner.
3. Fill in your address information and go through each checkout step until you get to payment.
4. You make the payment in an external popup window.
5. We will send an order confirmation to your email address immediately after submission of your order.
6. When we send the product, we will charge your payment card and send an invoice to your email address.
Please note that you cannot purchase the entire hummel product range on hummel.net. If you have any questions regarding shopping on the website, please contact customer service by email onlinesupportDK@hummel.net or phone number 87 34 48 00.
2. Product prices
The price of the individual product is shown in the list of products, on the product page and in the shopping basket. The price of a product is inclusive of 25% VAT and taxes but exclusive of freight. All our prices are stated in DKK.
hummel accepts no liability for sold out items and printing and price errors. Any price errors will be corrected as soon as possible.
3. Payment
You pay by clicking the button 'Go to payment'. The shopping basket shows the total price for the purchase inclusive of VAT and freight. This is the total price payable.
We do not charge your payment card until we dispatch your parcel.
You cannot pay for products purchased on hummel.net/dk via home banking. You can use the payment cards below - hummel will pay the card fee:

Your payment is processed via a secure encrypted connection, which ensures that your payment information is not accessible to unauthorised persons. Your payment is secured through Pensio's PCI payment system. All payment card information is entered in a secure SSL encrypted environment (Secure Socket Layer) and is forwarded to PBS in encrypted form. We guarantee that we do not save sensitive information on our own server. hummel cannot at any time view any of this information and we are not entitled to charge your payment card until the products have been dispatched from our physical warehouse.
You will be asked to provide the following information:
Card number (16 digits embossed on the front of the card)
Expiry date (embossed on the front of the card)
Security code (three digits printed on the back of the card just above the magnetic stripe furthest to the right)
When you pay with a payment card, you are protected against abuse without any deductible. If your payment card is abused, you may ask your card issuer to refund the amount to your payment card.
4. Order confirmation by email
When you have submitted your order, we will send you an order confirmation to your email address. The order confirmation includes information about your order, delivery address, payment method, delivery time, prices, contact information for hummel customer service and information about right of cancellation and right of complaint.
If you want to have your order confirmation resent, you must contact customer service by email onlinesupportDK@hummel.net or phone number 87 34 48 00.
5. Email invoice
When hummel dispatches your products, you will receive an email invoice. The email invoice includes information about your order, delivery address, payment method, delivery time, prices, contact information for hummel customer service and information about right of cancellation and right of complaint.
6. Delivery and freight
We strive to deliver all orders received on working days as soon as possible, i.e. within 2-6 working days. If you submit an order on a Saturday or a Sunday, the delivery time (2-6 days) will start on Monday as the product will not be packed and dispatched until Monday at the earliest.
Postal parcels for private and business addresses are delivered by Post Danmark – freight amounts to 45 DKK (this includes VAT).
Should it be necessary to split the delivery into several parcels due to delivery problems at hummel, the related costs will be paid by hummel.
7. Right of cancellation and replacement
14-day right of cancellation
You have a 14-day unlimited right of cancellation for your purchases. The 14-day right of cancellation becomes effective when you receive the product. However, you should be aware that the right of cancellation may only be exercised if the product is returned in substantially the same condition and in the same quantity. Thus, the right of cancellation lapses if you use the product in a way that clearly reduces the product's sales value significantly. We ask you to leave an intact cardboard hangtag (tag with bar code) on the product – this is not a requirement but it will facilitate the processing of your return product.
You may cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the parcel or by returning the product to hummel either personally or by post (se guidelines below). When we receive the product and confirm that it is in good condition, we will refund the price of the product(s) to your credit card. You must pay the freight costs of returning the product.
You can either get your money back or exchange the product for another size or type of product. If you want to exchange a product for another product/size, please send back the return products (see guidelines below) with a request for a refund of the amount and then submit a new order on hummel.net.
To facilitate and accelerate the processing of your return product, we recommend that you do the following:
1. In your email invoice you find a link to a return note with your preprinted order number. If you cannot find your e-mail invoice, you can also download a return note here – but without a preprinted order number.
2. Print and fill in the return note.
3. Send the return note and a copy of your invoice together with your products to:

Remember to save your postal receipt as documentation for dispatch of the product. Please note that we do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery.
General information about cancellation:
We ask you to return your products securely packaged to avoid damage during transport.
We also recommend that you follow the return guidelines above in order to ensure quicker and easier processing of your return products.
Products purchased online on hummel.net/dk cannot be exchanged or refunded in physical stores selling hummel products.
8. Complaints
hummel offers you a 2-year right of complaint with respect to manufacturing or material defects according to the Danish Sale of Goods Act. If the product was defective when it was sold, you are entitled to a replacement if it is possible for hummel to obtain a new product. You may also choose to receive a refund of the price for the product. The right of complaint does not comprise defects, damage or ordinary wear and tear resulting from incorrect use of the product or other detrimental behaviour causing the damage. Therefore, hummel should be notified in a timely manner of complaints about faults and defects that should be detected during ordinary inspection of the product. The complaint must be submitted within a reasonable time of detection of the defect.
You must pay the postage/freight costs of returning the product. However, if the complaint is justified and timely hummel will refund the freight/postage paid by you. If you want a refund of the purchase amount we will transfer this amount to the payment card used to pay for the product.
To facilitate and accelerate the processing of your complaint we recommend that you do the following:

2. Print and fill in the return note.

4. Remember to save your postal receipt as documentation for dispatch of the product. Send a copy of your postal receipt to servicecenter@hummel.dk and include your order number in the e-mail. In this way we will know the freight amount that we will transfer to your account.
General information about complaints:
We ask you to return your products securely packaged to avoid damage during transport.
We recommend that you follow the return guidelines above in order to ensure quicker and easier processing of your return products.
When you return a product, we kindly ask you to enclose adequate information with the parcel such as a copy of your invoice as well as registration number and account number for a possible refund of the product's purchase price.
It is not possible to submit complaints about products purchased online on hummel.net in physical shops selling hummel products.
9. Faulty delivery
If, by mistake, we send you the wrong product, we ask you to contact hummel's customer service:

If hummel has sent you the wrong product or if a product is defective, hummel will pay all costs of returning the product.
10. Damaged parcels
If you receive a damaged parcel, we ask you to submit a complaint to hummel's customer service. We will then help you with the complaint:

11. Cancellation of orders
If, contrary to expectation, a product in your order is out of stock or cannot be delivered for some other reason we will inform you by email that your order has been cancelled and of course we will not charge your payment card.
