Füchse Berlin, founded in 1891 in Berlin-Reinickendorf, look back onto a long history. After some restructuring, todays club was renamed 2005 and competes under the name Füchse Berlin, claiming entire Berlin as their territory, not just Reinickendorf anymore.

After the advance to the highest German handball league in 2007, the Füchse established themselves as one of the best teams in one of the world’s strongest leagues. On an international level the club draw a lot of attention, especially after winning the IHF Super Globe twice in a row in 2015 and 2016.

The foxes claim is “Hier ist unser Revier” and they are hungry for more. At hummel we are proud to sponsor such an ambitious and will-strong club and also are thrilled to be the partner to supply the team with unique jerseys for the hunt!

 


HBC Nantes

Biggest achievement: Winning bronze/Placing 3rd in the LNH Division 1

HBC Nantes based in Nantes, France, have through a strong offensive strategy managed to reach the top 5 in the D1 Championship. They have a strong desire and ambition to remain among the top teams of the national elite, and therefore, many international players have joined the team in the recent years.

Also known as ‘the purple’, HBC Nantes has very a very strong group of fans, so much so that their public wont the symbolic title of best public of France in their first NHL season - they have had the largest attendance of spectators at the end of a sports season in 2012/2013, setting French record (100,000).

The three founding values of the club are: Combativeness (representing their style), respect (to the club, partners and public) and Solidarity (towards teammates). HBC Nantes believe that it is together that they will succeed, and we are excited to be a part of their team.

 


BM Granollers

 

FACTS:

Founded: 1944
League: Liga ASOBAL

Biggest achievement: Champions of the EHF Cup in 1994/95 and 1995/96,
Winning the 1st Division 3 times and the Division de Honor 10 times. 
Placed 3rd in the Liga ASOBAL in 2013/14 and 2014/15

The BM Granollers is one of the oldest and most successful handball clubs in Spain, in terms of titles won. From the very beginning, they have been extremely competitive and quickly made it to a high competitive level. They have completed almost every season in the top league of Spanish handball and in 1976 they won the EHF Cup Winner’s Cup, making them the first Spanish club to win a European title. Due to their great history, they hosted handball matches at the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games – their current arena was built for that event. One of their landmarks is commitment to the formation of young players, and as a result of this many great players have emerged from their youth academy. In recent years, they have significantly increased the number of female teams in the youth academy. We are honored to sponsor a team with such great history, and who like us, want to foster growth within the sport.

 

 


RK Zagreb

Biggest achievement: Winning the EHF Champions League in 1991/2 and 1992/3.

RK Zagreb is without a doubt the most successful handball club in Croatia. This can be seen through their achievement, as they have won as much as 60 big trophies in their history.

This includes winning the Croatian Premier Handball League every single year from 1992 to 2016, as well as the Croatian Handball Cup 23 times. ‘The white and blue’ show impressive skill on the court, and have a very loyal group of fans, which they call their White Lions. Having shown such talent and strength throughout the entire career of the club, we are very excited to see what the future will bring, and are proud to be a part of it.

 

 

 


Aalborg Håndbold

Biggest achievement: Danish Champions 2010 and 2013, and Winners of the Super Cup in 2012.

Aalborg Handball Club strives to be amongst the leading clubs in Danish men’s handball and to be known on a local, regional, national and European level.

So far, Internationally, they have made it to the 1/16 finals of the EHF Champions League in 2004, 2014 and 2015. The values of the club are: determination, charisma, a winning mentality, engagement and trustworthiness.

Aalborg Handball Club wants to show strength on the court, and we are proud to stand with them.

 

 

  


IFK Kristianstad

Biggest achievement: Winning the Swedish men’s national indoor championship 6 times and won the men’s title in 2015.

IFK Kristianstad has been one of the leading handball clubs in Sweden since the 1930’s. Elegance, ball control and effectivity are associated with IFK Kristianstad, and are what make it a pleasure to watch them on the court.

The club has acquired six championships, and has been home to many impressive players over the year. IFK Kristianstad has also formed handball for all initiatives such as starting a training group for children with disabilities and working together with Furuboda IF to enable wheelchair handball. It is efforts such as these, that makes hummel and IFK Kristianstad such a good match, as we have a common interest in changing the world through sport.

 

 

 

 


Nederlands Handball Verbond (NVH)

Biggest achiecement: Silver at the world championships in 2015 and placed 4th at the Olympics in 2016

The Netherlands Handball Federation (NHV) has over 57,000 members. The federation has a strong focus on the development of talent, and their mission is to be structurally amongst the top 10 in the world.

Talent is key to their strategy, and they want to provide all children with the opportunity to develop their talents. For this, they have well-structured talent programs with skilled trainers and coaches. Furthermore, the National women’s team has developed a strong team of talented players, which has brought them on the rise internationally. In 2015 they won silver at the World Championships and they made an impressive debut at the 2016 Olympic Games, where they came in fourth place.

Mikkel Hansen is a world-renowned Danish handball player with an impressive record of results and success. He had his debut in 2007, when he started played for the Danish National Team at the age of 20. Since then, he has helped them to achieve gold at the European Championship in 2012 and at the Olympics in 2016.

As a pioneer and unique character, Mikkel has the ability to really make a difference and is willing to do so. With his charity project MH24 – Mikkel Against Bullying, he leads by example in teaching children how to be a good friend and teammate during the course of a handball camp. We have worked with Mikkel Hansen since 2013, as sponsors of the MH24 camps and suppliers of high-performance handballs shoes.

His undeniable talent within the sport and wish to use his popularity to do good, make Mikkel Hansen and hummel natural partners.

 

 


Víctor Tomás Gonzalez

Víctor Tomàs has been playing handball for over 8 years and made his debut with the Spanish National Team in 2007 at the World Championships in Germany.

He is one of the best players both on a national and international level, and always plays with an enviable spirit and passion. He has played for the Spanish club FC Barcelona for more than 18 seasons and has prolonged his contract until year 2021, stating that he plans to play at the highest level every day until he realizes the club’s expectations and goals.

Paul Drux

Germany handball player Paul Drux is a young star on the rise. He first picked up a handball at the age of five, and has since then become an exceptionally talented and successful professional player. He made his breakthrough in 2015 at the world championships in Qatar, and has since then continued to climb in achievement while admirably remaining modest about his success.
